I know it has been awhile BUT I'm back. During my time away, I found the man of my dreams and we are getting married!! Okay, I am sooooooo lying. LOL!! I have NOT found the man of my dreams. I've only had two dates and was stood up once!! He did have a legitimate reason, but a call beforehand would have nice. So, in light of my current dating situation, I have decided to refocus.
You may have noticed that I've changed the name of my blog from "Mis-Adventures in Dating "to "In Search of my Barack..." In January, I made a vision board. I cut out pictures and words that represented what I wanted in my life and put them on a poster board. One of the images that I chose was of a Barack and Michelle Obama. I chose that picture because of what I feel they represent. A strong, powerful, successful, and loving couple. The subtle glances and slight touches that they give one another scream love and passion. Mrs. Obama stands beside her man and she supports him 100%. I also must admit, he is the definition of sex appeal and swagger :-). I am on a mission to find my own Barack. My blog will now be dedicated to the steps that I take to find my Barack. I am going to put myself out there...physcially and emotionally to find him. By the end of 2010, I will be in a committed relationship with the person that I will marry. Wish me luck. I am going to need all the support I can get.
